Special acknowledgements were adopted by the Club in 2005 to recognize exceptional service to KASC. Based on similar categories of Swimming Victoria, they are the Service Award and the Meritorious Service Award as sub-categories to Life Member Awards. Wagin Anstey-Sprigg was inducted at the 2006 AGM as a worthy recipient of the Service Award in recognition of his strong representation for KASC at various championships (including 3 Victorian Country Championships, 2 Inter-District Championships, and 6 Central Victorian Championships), as well as his general support to Club activities.
