Kyneton is located in the Macedon Ranges Shire in Central Victoria on the Calder Highway between Melboune and Bendigo.

Summer 2009/2010 will be last time the Kyneton outdoor pool will be open before it is decommissioned.
The new Kyneton Sports and Aquatic Centre will replace this 50 year pool, and is expected to open in
September 2010.
